Property Risk Control

Anheuser-Busch has long established a high standard for fire safety and prevention. The strategic application of prevention and mitigation initiatives reduces the company’s exposure to catastrophic risk from fires, hurricanes, earthquakes and related perils. The ongoing commitment of property risk control and business continuity resources represents a significant investment toward the protection of human life and preservation of environmental integrity. Applying proactive and progressive measures, the company retains outside fire protection engineers and consultants to inspect facilities and audit operations on a regularly scheduled basis.

In 2006, there were 85 facility and park inspections. Some of the key activities completed included hurricane and wind impact analyses at 164 locations, seismic impact analyses at 122 locations, 192 boiler and machinery site reviews and more than 600 fire pump and water supply tests.
